FOLX FARM

Chrissie’s former farm, “Keats” was in Bexley, South London. There, she gained massive notoriety for her salads, herbs and speciality produce. She carved out an incredible niche with a cult-like following with chefs that have cult following themselves.

Chrissie and her partner Dunia have now moved out to the stunning East Sussex and Kent border, with around twenty acres to sustainably farm with their team mate Rae. They have big plans for the site, not just for themselves, but to become an incubator farm for the next generation of farmers. Another huge benefit is that they have a brilliant reservoir to swim in after a hot sweaty day out in the fields.

Folx specialises in asian leaves, herbs and unusual, exotic vegetables. The operation is no-dig, incorporates a multitude of green manures, rotations and farm brewed liquid fertilisers, as well as utilising horse poo for the neighbouring nags! Chrissie’s salad is famous and highly sought after. She’s also a total legend and one of the first suppliers Shrub had.
