Ringden Farm

Ringden Farm are the royalty of apple and pear growing in the south-east. Established in 1949, it's now been succeeded by its third generation, with John and Nathan taking over from their inspirational and trail blazing father, Chris Dench.

Not only are Ringden Farm renowned for quality fruit, they also have a ubiquitous presence and sterling reputation for their juices in Sussex, Kent and London. Juice production was an innovation and necessity introduced in the early 90’s after a horrendous hailstorm damaged their entire year's crop, rendering them un-salable.

Thirty years on they now juice, can and press fruit for dozens of small producers and are a real hub and source of community for orchard growers and cider lovers.

What they don’t know about apples and pears isn’t worth knowing, and following on from their father’s close involvement, they continue to work alongside the famous East Malling Research Station in fruit development and sustainability.
