The Todolí Citrus Foundation is a bastion of citrus heritage, research and development. Not only are they custodian to native Spanish and Valencian varieties but Todoli also cultivates and rescues citrus from around the globe.

Citrus seeds will not survive in seed banks, therefore, must be preserved on living trees. Todoli currently have an incredible, five-hundred and forty different varieties.

As well as protecting the existence of the fruit, the Todoli Citrus Foundation stands against the mass development of their unique region, famous for citrus production. Encased by a mountain range, fronted by the mediterranean sea, bridged by lowlands, the slopes surrounding Gandia make for perfect citrus growing conditions with hot dry days, cool nights and healthy hydrating, low lying, fertile soil.

This is the most unique, high quality citrus to be found anywhere in the world, and Shrub is delighted to support Todoli as their only third party commercial arm.
